Most charts force traders to piece together context from separate tools. Cascade brings the important auction layers into a single visual hierarchy, making it easier to distinguish current opportunity from background noise.

It is designed for traders who want to know where value is developing, how that value relates to the broader auction, and which prior areas may still matter.

Available for TradingView and NinjaTrader 8. Platform controls may be arranged differently, but the auction hierarchy and decision workflow remain consistent.

The major mode choices change how Cascade receives data, builds an auction segment, interprets a break, and reports state. Start with the defaults, then change one decision at a time.

DATA SOURCE

Native chart or fixed-time series

Native mode follows the open chart. Secondary-series mode supplies a fixed time-based source while you view an alternative chart construction.

IB BUILD

Time-based or bar-count sizing

Build the initial balance from an opening portion of the selected interval or across a defined number of source bars.

BREAK MODE

Strict, Standard, or Loose

Strict waits for broader zone clearance, Standard reads the center of active value, and Loose responds to the leading edge.

REGIME

Zone position or migration

Color the zone by its relationship to the broader auction, by segment-to-segment migration, or turn regime coloring off.

END CAPS

Matched or custom interval

Build End Caps from the Dynamic Zone interval or from an independent interval when market memory needs a different horizon.

ALERT TIMING

Realtime follows developing conditions. Confirmed-close mode waits for the source bar to complete before markers and alerts qualify.

NON-TIME BARS

Separate view from source

A fixed-time source is designed to retain clock-based auction context while you view supported Renko, range, tick, volume, or other non-time bars.

Recommended setup order:

Choose the data source first, macro IB interval second, active-zone interval third, then confirmation and display preferences. Change one group at a time so you can see what actually improves the read.

Cascade markers describe changes in the auction stack. They do not replace a trade plan, risk definition, or execution decision.

BREAK

Zone Bull Break / Zone Bear Break

The selected Dynamic Zone reference migrates beyond the completed initial-balance boundary. Break Trigger mode determines how much of the zone must clear.

RETEST

Value Anchor retest

After a qualified break, active value returns through the completed auction's Value Anchor. The retest is graded so aligned and less-aligned conditions remain distinct.

FAILURE

Bull Break Failed / Bear Break Failed

The selected zone trigger returns inside the prior initial balance after an attempted migration. It identifies a failed transition, not an automatic counter-trade.

REFERENCE

End Cap and Core lifecycle

Cascade can report a new End Cap, activation of an untested completed-profile Core Band, and full mitigation of that Core Band.

A+ RetestThe retest occurs with the strongest configured alignment between active value and its corresponding zone context.
Standard RetestThe retest qualifies but does not meet the additional A+ alignment requirement.
Weak RetestThe retest occurs while the broader zone migration is not fully maintained.

Confirm Data Src and both intervals first. Then read IB State, Break, Mid vs IB, and Regime. Use the reference counts last to understand how much completed-auction context remains.

Begin with Bull and Bear Breaks, the two A+ Retests, both Failed Breaks, and Untested Core Band Activated. Add other lifecycle and lower-grade alerts only when they support a defined review or execution process.

COMMON MISTAKES

Misreads to avoid.

Most Cascade errors come from treating one layer as a standalone entry or configuring source and intervals without a clear hierarchy.

Treating every break as an entry

A break describes value migration. It does not define entry, stop, size, or acceptable risk.

Using native data on non-time bars by accident

If you need clock-consistent auction windows on Renko, range, tick, or volume charts, select and validate the fixed-time source.

Giving both intervals the same job

The IB interval supplies backdrop; the Dynamic Zone interval represents active value. Choose each with a distinct purpose.

Assuming a Core is active immediately

A completed profile core becomes an untested reference only after price leaves its completed auction area.

Deleting all history to clean the chart

Use display and history limits first. Unresolved Core records can be protected separately from ordinary profile drawings.

Calling an End Cap resolved after one touch

A single edge interaction is not the same as complete traversal of the reference envelope.

Using Realtime like confirmed close

Realtime states can change during a developing source bar. Use confirmed-close mode when the process requires completed-bar evidence.

Changing every group at once

Adjust source, interval hierarchy, break mode, and display separately so you know which change affected the read.
